Victoria Del Tufo, formerly of Kingston, now living in East Bridgewater, called in a road hazard on Route 3 south bound around mile marker 16. Fortunately, Trooper John Garland was only a few miles north and was able to locate the debris, a 28 foot ladder, and opened up the lane for safe travel. “Her timing was instinctive,” said her boyfriend Chris Conlon, a Weston Firefighter. “We swerved around the ladder and BOOM she’s on the phone.” Del Tufo has been nominated for an outstanding citizen award for the Town of Plymouth.
