High school student Makayla Young was shot in her home around 1:10pm today. She was rushed to Flowers hospital in Dothan Alabama and was later pronounced dead. Her sister, Whitley, was injured but survived. This is a tragic time for the Young family. We are unaware of the shooter, but will continue to investigate.
