Kopuk The Cat is a fan character made by Ozcrash, leader of the Sonic World team. But after leaked information arrived with SEGA emailing Ozcrash asking if they could use Kopuk The Cat in Sonic Forces 2 hinted to arive holiday of 2023. Ozcrash agreed to this offer also making Sonic World an official Sonic game leaked to come out the same year as Sonic Forces 2 much like how Sonic Mania came out the same year as Sonic Forces. Ozcrash planned to tell his fans but SEGA said no as they didn't want to ruin the surprise. But that didn't stop the fans from finding ways to get the emails.
