Scientists from Columbus, Ohio, descended on Indian Lake this week to investigate a new species of snake found in back waters and channels, first observed by Todd Rouser, a naturalist and photographer from the eastern Ohio area of South Sakk. Late Thursday evening, a specimen had been collected and examined by Ohio State Science Labs officials who said, "What makes this snake so unique are two bulbous protrusions attached just under its chin." Professor Updike continued, "If the discovery holds up to truly be a new addition, the snake would be named in honor of its discoverer and would officially known as the T.Rouser snake.
